Red Sage/Baikal Formula Glycerite

About: The combination of these two herbs is useful for restoring circulation, supporting the Central Nervous system, Liver, Spleen and Kidneys, along with assisting the body to address metabolic toxicosis and inflammation.

Contains: Organic Red Sage root (Salvia militorrhiza) and organic Baikal Skullcap roots (Scutellaria baicalensis) in 35% certified organic Non-GMO Vegetable Glycerin (no palm or soy). Contains less than 5% organic Cane Alcohol. 

Safety considerations: Not to be used in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Care needs to be taken by those with Type I diabetes as Baikal can affect insulin and blood sugar levels. Red Sage and Baikal have blood thinning qualities and are known to reduce blood pressure. If you are using pharmaceuticals, please consult with your health care provider before taking herbs. Be sure to work with a knowledgeable health care practitioner who can safely guide you. 

Recommended Dosage: 60 drops OR 1/2 tsp, 2-3 times per day in juice or water. Children under 12 take half the adult dosage. *Please note our recommended dosage may differ from other sources.

Glycerites are prepared from the original herb extract, which is made with the percentage of organic cane alcohol necessary for proper extraction of the vital components in each herb. We then use a process of evaporation to remove the alcohol and then replace this with certified organic vegetable glycerine to preserve the final product.

We recommend storing glycerites in the refrigerator or a cool, dark place to extend the shelf-life, which is approximately 2 years. These sweet and tasty glycerites can be enjoyed by children and adults who may be alcohol sensitive.
