Botanical name: Tabebuia impetiginosa and Tabebuia avellanedae

Ingredients: Pau D' Arco tree bark in 40% certified organic non-GMO cane alcohol, organic non-GMO vegetable glycerin, and pure Adirondack water.

Part used: Dry inner bark 

Percentage of alcohol used: 40%

Ratio plant to menstruum: 1:6 

Safety considerations: Pau d’arco should not be used during pregnancy or when breastfeeding. Avoid taking before surgery or if you are on prescribed blood thinners or NSAIDs as Pau D’arco is considered a mild blood thinner.

About: Pau d’arco is an herb made from the inner bark of Tabebuia trees (Tabebuia impetiginosa and Tabebuia avellanedae), which grow in the Amazon rainforest. The beautiful clusters of pink trumpet-like flowers cover the tree branches at various times of the year. Historically, indigenous peoples have used this tree bark for a variety of physical conditions. Pau d’arco supports immune function, endurance, skin and gastro-intestinal systems. 

Recommended Dosage: 30-60 drops OR 1/4-1/2 tsp, 3 times per day in juice or water. *Please note our recommended dosage may differ from other sources.
