Balsam Fir Forest Body Oil

About: Balsam fir’s scent refreshes as it soothes the senses and nervous system. Rub into sore muscles and joints for ease of movement; place on bug bites to calm irritation; apply as a mild, cleansing oil for face and scalp; or massage into dry skin after a bath or shower and feel yourself transported into a vibrant, green and fragrant woodland. 

Try using as a warm oil treatment for your hair (waiting for 30-60 minutes before washing your hair). This gentle fragrance of winter holidays lifts one’s mood, relaxes body and spirit and opens one’s breath and heart! A gift from the fragrant, generous forest to you!

We infuse organic, extra virgin olive oil with slender branches and needles of Balsam Fir trees that we gather mindfully and respectfully from our home woodlands in the Adirondacks of upstate New York. On a summer’s day, the fragrance of this fir tree fills the air and entices us to rest beneath the trees~ bathing in the soft, warm tones of sweet evergreens. We wanted to share this relaxing aromatic experience with others, creating this handmade -in small batches- botanical body oil for you.
