About: In spring, the sunny yellow blossoms of Dandelion rise in fields and yards ~ a tonic to our senses as winter recedes. We gather the roots before the flowers emerge and again in the fall, digging them from the rich brown soil. These roots hold a rich, earthy taste and have been used as tea, vinegar and alcohol extract ~ a simple yet effective herbal delight!
