Herbal Extracts
In preparing our extracts here at Woodland Essence, we begin with vibrant, organically grown fresh or dried herbs. We grow many of the freshly gathered plants we use in preparing our extracts or wildcraft from pristine areas throughout the Adirondack region of New York. Each plant is joyfully harvested in season with respect and gratitude for its gift of life and healing. Occasionally, we use plants that are unavailable to us in the northeast region. These herbs are carefully grown and gathered by knowledgeable herbalists and shipped to us fresh or dried, depending on the herb.
We then use the proper ratio of organic cane alcohol and pure Adirondack water when preparing each herbal extract. It is our joy to prepare these marvelous herbal extracts to share the exquisite energetics and qualities, nature and light of each herb, that they may gently assist you on your path to well-being!
They are quickly and easily absorbed via the bloodstream and digestive system, and utilized by the body in specific ways, depending upon the herbs. Convenient and easy-to-dose, liquid extracts can be easily taken in water, juice or tea.
