These are composed of many identical of different monosaccharides that can be found in plant roots, including starch, cellulose, pectin, etc. Often there is more starch in fall harvested roots. If you see tiny dark flecks or a residue that settles on the bottom of your bottle of Baikal you are seeing this starch. Simply shake your bottle before you pour or dropper up your dose and stir into a small amount of water.
