Ingredients: Dried Sida acuta leaf, certified organic non-GMO cane alcohol, organic apple cider vinegar and pure Adirondack water.

Percentage of organic non-GMO alcohol used: 55-60%

Percentage of organic apple cider vinegar: 10%

Ratio plant to menstruum: 1:5

Safety considerations: Sida acuta is used in traditional medicine to prevent pregnancy. It should also be used with caution in Hypertension, Hyperthyroid and Hypoglycemia. Avoid with pregnancy or if you are planning on becoming pregnant. Be sure to work with a knowledgeable health practitioner who can guide you.

Note: Most of the Sida acuta we purchase is now grown on a small farm here in upstate NY. Grown with love and without chemicals, the radiant Sida plants we process from this fertile farm are high in quality and plant constituents. We also import some Sida from Cameroon or Ghana when needed. The taste of the Sida can be a little different depending on the source, growing conditions, soil type and overall environment. But be assured all are excellent sources!

About:  Also known as Country Mallow, and Wireweed. Sida leaves are considered sweet and cooling. The leaves prepared as tea or extract have a history of supporting the circulatory, respiratory, reproductive, nervous, and urinary systems along with strengthening and supporting the body systems overall. Sida also assists in the body response to irritation and inflammation, especially when heat is involved.

The plant itself is pretty tough as the large wiry roots grow quite deep, grasping the soil and stones where it grows, making it difficult to pull the plant from the soil. It can easily take over an area to establish itself. Plants that thrive in this way can be wonderful allies for humans as pathogens and other challenges come our way.

Recommended Dosage: 30-40 drops OR 1/4 tsp, 3 times per day in juice or water. Children under 12 take half the adult dosage. *Please note our recommended dosage may differ from other sources.
