Power Up Kids Glycerite

About this formula: Supports a healthy immune and respiratory system, especially in the colder months, when traveling or in times of stress.

Ingredients: Organic Astragalus root (Astragalus membranaceus), organic Codonpsis root (Codonopsis pilosula), organic Elderberry (Sambucus nigra) organic Cordyceps: fruiting body & mycelium (Cordyceps militaris), organic Mullein leaf (Verbascum thapsus) & wild crafted Burdock root (Arctium lappa) in 35% certified organic Non-GMO Vegetable Glycerin (no palm or soy). Contains less than 5% organic Cane Alcohol. 

Herb Profiles: 

Astragalus: root has been used for centuries in Traditional Chinese Medicine as a primary tonic to support the respiratory and immune systems, build essential vitality, support and increase resistance, especially when weather is cold, windy and wet.

Codonopsis: Nourishes, supports and stabilizes respiratory, digestive, immune and endocrine systems; supports vital force/energy.

Elderberry: High in antioxidants and Vitamin C, Elderberries nourish and support the respiratory, digestive, cardiovascular and immune systems. 

Cordyceps militaris: supports kidney function, respiratory, gastric and immune systems, and is used as an overall general tonic, supporting vitality and energy.

Mullein leaf: cooling, softening, moistening and opening. Mullein leaf supports and brings harmony to healthy respiratory, digestive and lymphatic systems.

Burdock root: both moistening and astringent, mildly bitter and pungent, Burdock root nourishes and supports a healthy liver and skin, along with the lymphatic, urinary and respiratory systems.

Recommended Dosage: Children ages 12 months to 6 years: 10-30 drops 3x/day. Older children dose: 20-40 drops 3x/day. *Please note our recommended dosage may differ from other sources.

Glycerites are prepared from the original herb extract, which is made with the percentage of organic cane alcohol necessary for proper extraction of the vital components in each herb. We then use a process of evaporation to remove the alcohol and then replace this with certified organic vegetable glycerine to preserve the final product.

We recommend storing glycerites in the refrigerator or a cool, dark place to extend the shelf-life, which is approximately 2 years. These sweet and tasty glycerites can be enjoyed by children and adults who may be alcohol sensitive.
