Contains: L. (dissectum), Pleurisy root (Asclepias tuberosa), Elecampane (Inula helenium), Isatis root and leaf (Isatis indigotica), Houttuynia (Houttuynia cordata), Osha (Ligusticum porteri), Yerba santa (Eriodictyon californicum), Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra), Myrrh gum (Commiphora myrrha) in certified organic non-GMO cane alcohol and Adirondack water.
Safety considerations: Do not take during pregnancy or when nursing.
*Three of the herbs in this formula, L. dissectum, Pleurisy root and Osha are very powerful herbs and are strongly discouraged for use during both Pregnancy and breast-feeding.
Osha root contains high amounts of oxytocin that could cause problems for both unborn and young children.
L. dissectum has been known to cause uncomfortable rash in some adults. Also, the safety of L. dissectum in babies and children has not been evaluated to date. These are the reasons we discourage the use of the overall Deep Lung Formula with pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Pleurisy root may cause a rash, nausea or diarrhea in babies and children. It may also cause uterine contractions. Consider our formula “Open Breath” which would be a safer alternative that helps with respiratory support.
