About Black Walnut: In early autumn, the light green hulls of black walnuts fall from the tall trees~ a perfect time to gather up these round orbs. The walnut meat is excellent for eating; but it is the fresh hulls that are peeled away, turning a dark brown, that are used for making an herbal extract or oil. Black walnut hulls may support and clear the intestinal tract, act as a digestive bitter and tend to certain skin conditions. The green hull contains bitter quinones, such as juglone, fatty acids and bioflavonoids. There is a study from researchers at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health that highlights black walnut and other herbs for certain health concerns.
Recommended Dosage: 10-30 drops, OR 1/8 - 1/4 tsp 3 times per day in juice or water. *Please note our recommended dosage may differ from other sources.

Love ordering from Woodland, easy website to navigate and friendly when needing help or asking a question. A great resource for quality herbs.
First, I have to say I love ALL the products at this store. This knocked out a skin problem I had when the stuff at the pharmacy would not. So grateful for thesde products!
Taste great..
I started Black Walnut along with CSA, Japanese Knotweed and Baikal Skullcap for my chronic pain due to Lyme Disease. It’s only been 1 week and already pain is decreasing in severity and frequency. I can even lie on my right hip to sleep again at night.
