About: In Japan, Maitake is called the “dancing mushroom” since one would dance with delight discovering this delicious choice mushroom in the wild. We have found Maitake in the Northeast in oak forests at summer’s end, certainly joyful when they emerge from the leafy forest floor. Maitake can be used fresh or dried in cooking, and also in powder form or as an alcohol extract. We use powders of both the fruiting body (mushroom) and mycelium in our Maitake extract.
Maitake supports the immune, digestive and respiratory systems, nourishing these with its active compounds. Best taken daily for an extended period of time.
Recommended Dosage: 30-60 drops OR 1/4 - 1/2 tsp 2-3 times per day in juice or water. *Please note our recommended dosage may differ from other sources.
