September is a beautiful month that whispers autumn’s song in the cooler mornings, red-tinted maple leaves and dragonflies flitting about in the evening sky.  The sunflowers shine their bright faces to the sun, as we gather seeds of passing herbs and flowers that we will plant come spring~ calendula, and elecampane, st. johns wort, angelica and others, even as we continue the harvesting of several flowering herbs to dry or process for the coming seasons.

Nature’s radiance and fullness has blessed us once again, in plants and produce, health and a sense of deep connection to the cycles of life, the land and one another.  As the harvest days continue, may you find what nurtures your own heart and hopes!
